ABOUT AUTHOR AIJA M. BUTLER

Author-Publisher, Aija Monique Butler was born in San Diego California, in 1979. She currently resides in the San Francisco Bay area, where she is a Residential Care Facility/Skilled Nursing Home Administrator for the State of California, Specializing in Acute Care, Dementia, and Diabetes, for the elderly.

"Yes I am a professional student, you must be teachable in order to excel…," Aija laughs.

                Ms. Butler holds degrees and certification in Psychology and Healthcare Management. She is continuing her education with hopes of obtaining a PhD in Developmental Psychology and Healthcare, by the time she is 40. She says she is looking forward to adding Dr. to the front of her name.

                Aija is currently fulfilling her extended credentialing in Healthcare to maintain her current license and attending business and publication management courses at Cal State University East Bay. Aija is also a Notary Public and a Certified Loan Signing Agent.

               In addition to Aija’s vast career experience in medicine and mind Ms. Butler, is a Grant writer and an Advocate and Philanthropist for non-profit program development in the areas of Youth and Social Service Development.  Aija has a love for the arts and is a writer of poetry, both fiction, and non-fiction novels, memoirs, and screen plays.

                  In 2003 shortly after the birth of her first child she was diagnosed with coccidiomychosis a lung disease caused by inhaling toxic soil. During her travels to and from Northern and Southern California she contracted this disease.

                  Aija spent 11.5 months in the hospital upon her release. She stood 65 pounds and with a torn soul and diminished spirit having to learn the basics of daily living Once more she found her self-esteem suffered due to her lack of independence, which was once her pride and joy. Faced with the challenges of walking and talking she took it one step at a time and soon enough she was back on her feet though  the disease lies in dormant it peaks and she deals with the chest pressure, Neuropathy, and fears that come along with loss of speech and mobility.

              Most ask her when she plans on sitting down it her answer is simple, “When God lays me down...my job is dedicated to the lives of my children and there is work to be done.”

             Writing was the muse that carried Aija through illness. Seventeen, 200 page journals filled along with a box full of tape-recorded messages later, she delves into the land of publishing, while continuing her love for philanthropy

                In 2011, Aija decided to turn her career of writing and graphic design into a profession of publishing and business development. She is now the owner and founder of AMB Publishing Productions, a small publishing and consulting firm for Authors and Non-profit development officers. Under this umbrella evolves a number of branching companies that deal with the love of the arts, the creation of music, printed publications, and on screen productions.

 Currently, the AMB roster has grown to more than 20 authors and 4 branching companies around the United States. In October2012, the AMB brand will take their services to the next level by offering 6courses taught by owner and founder Aija butler and partner Larosa Asorsal.                          

The AMB Brand also stays grounded and in tune with the community and its needs. Youth service is Aija’s first love and creating new programs for the health, mind, and body image for youth is always in her goal sights.

 "Dis Me, The Blog Diary’s," is a foundation owned and founded by AMB, after the loss of her brother in late2010. “Dis Me,” is a Literary group which looks to help students learn how to use effective communication, in expressing thoughts and feelings with their peers and elders. This advocacy program is dedicated to an effort to cease violence among teens and bullying in schools, in dedication to her deceased brother. The goal of the program is to open the lines of communication in an effort to improve teacher/student and parent/child relations.

               Aija M. Butler self-published her first book in 2010, entitled, “The Rebirth of My Soul.” She was later offered two traditional publishing contracts, which she turned down due to her research of the publishing industry and her entrepreneur spirit. Shortly after, the untimely death of her younger brother rap artist and author Boov, aka Arnold B. Muckleroy she wrote the 4.5 star book series My Nemesis, a four part series which discusses the dynamics of family, death, greed, and murder. This psychological thriller has opened doors for her publishing and writing career and is currently sifting through television production companies for, “My Nemesis,” the movie. She then released her first crime-fiction novelette, “Asian Persuasion,” a part of her x-files series, stories of woman scorn, and which seek the taste of sweet revenge. She also appeared in erotic thriller, “Real or Fantasy,” with Author Ellen Johnson.
                 Written works soon to come from Author Aija is, non-fiction novels, “The Rebirth,” 2nd Edition, “Born Again, Journey to recovery,”  Asian Persuasion book 2, My Nemesis Book 4, “Karma,” “A Soldier’s Promise,”  and “Butterfly Effect,” written with Co-Author Thornne Xaiviantt,  “Hood Bound,” with Co-Author’s Jeffrey Smith and Glendale Butler, and “Under Lock and Key.”
